RAFAEL AMUCHÁSTEGUI
His work combines his vast experience in architectural and interior design with the unique skills to deeply understand the client's needs and translate them into successful buildings. Initially formed as an architect in Argentina, Rafael moved to Texas in 1986, where he broadened his architectural abilities to become a licensed interior designer as well. From then on, he was a part of many renowned design firms, including Wilson & Associates and NBS.
In 2002, he saw a ripe market to further pursue his particular vision of starting an Independent Architectural and Design Firm. RAD Architecture Inc. was born with his old colleague and classmate, Daniel Hernandez opening studio locations in Argentina and Miami.
In 2005 the principals of South Atlantic and RAD Architecture worked on a mutual project and discovered they had common goals that could complement one another in the industry. Since then they never looked back. Today, Rafael specializes in hospitality, commercial and residential projects. Together they offer clients a wide range of design services with personalized attention to detail.
Rafael is dedicated to providing innovative design solutions while respecting its clients economic, marketing and aesthetic goals.
Every project undertaken by the firm is treated individually, and benefits from the years of hospitality, residential and commercial design experience that the principals and associates bring to their work.
